Meghan graduated from Queen’s University in 2008 with a Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy. Over the past 11 years she has gained extensive experience working with patients with Musculoskeletal and Pelvic Health injuries. Through post graduate courses, as well as her own experience with pregnancy and post-partum recovery, Meghan developed a strong interest in Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. She enjoys providing women with a safe one-on-one environment where they feel a strong level of support and professionalism in addressing their pelvic health concerns.


Meghan has completed courses focusing on the assessment and treatment of incontinence, weak core and/or pelvic floor, pelvic organ prolapse, bladder issues, pelvic pain, abdominal wall separation (diastasis recti), pregnancy-related dysfunctions, and guidance for successful post-natal recovery, including treatment of perineal/c-section scars and also addressing pain with intercourse.

Meghan has a strong interest in keeping women active safely throughout their pregnancy and guiding return to activity postnatally – no matter what the goal is. As an avid Crossfitter, she enjoys working with female athletes of any fitness level. Meghan is committed to enhancing her knowledge, having taken over 25 post-graduate courses focusing on soft tissue release, acupuncture, treatment and prevention of running injuries and therapeutic taping. Meghan also has a keen interest in manual therapy and has completed her Level 3 courses with the CPA Orthopaedic Division. Meghan is looking forward to grounding herself in Barrhaven and will strive toward providing care excellence at her new home at Holistic Wellness Physiotherapy.
